Landlord and the Karma Doctor
My son recently got sick and I am between jobs and don't have health insurance. I had to make a decision between paying my rent and my son's doctor visits and medicine--which was really no decision at all. I sent my landlord, whom I'd never met, a note with an explanation that my rent would be late because of my son's health. He sent me back a note with a Karma Coin in the envelope. The card said "don't worry about rent this month--it's on me. I hope your son is feeling better." I know I am supposed to pass the coin on to someone else--I can't wait to do it!

| Dear Karmanonymous, You are a landlord and have to pay for another mortgage. See this is a world where some have more and still want more and some don't even have the needful. And those who have more, still want more. How much do you really need, brother ? |

| I'm a landlord also and I know how hard it is to donate a full months rent to a tenant. Especially when the landlord has utility, maintenance and mortgage payments to make. Nice, warm hearted,. gesture |
